Sarah Moore
Dr. Sarah Moore is a Project Manager with the U.S. Department of Energy in the Office of Clean Energy Demonstrations, where she leads federal oversight of the Appalachian Regional Clean Hydrogen Hub. She was previously a AAAS (American Association for the Advancement of Science) Science and Technology Policy Fellow at the DOE Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy, where she helped develop and manage research, development, and demonstration programs across a diversity of disciplines, including small-scale desalination, grid optimization, energy improvement in rural areas, and diversity, equity, and inclusion in government funding. Prior to joining DOE, Sarah was a senior engineer at ExxonMobil and completed her Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering at the University of Arizona. Her dissertation work focused on economic optimization of off-grid desalination systems for drinking water production in remote underserved communities.
