Missie Hills
As a sustainability professional, Missie leads strategic initiatives within the energy industry with a sense of curiosity, connection, and compassion. With degrees in BS Mechanical Engineering and MBA, and over a decade of experience in the natural gas industry, Missie has led corporate strategies for Williams focused in the areas of risk management, asset integrity, and operational safety. Missie is currently leading her organization through the enhancement of the enterprise operations management system and supporting the sustainability strategy as a member of the ESG Core Team. Missie serves as an industry advisory board member for the Society of Low Carbon Technologies, a global organization dedicated to accelerating the deployment of low carbon technology and solutions.
Missie’s dedication to building a stronger community has led her to drive change with intent to create more inclusive cultures and build empathy within society. This journey led her to becoming a founding member of the Williams D&I Council and initiating an enterprise Employee Resource Group strategy where she personally founded the first Parents ERG. Missie serves as the VP of the Board of Directors for Childbuilders, an organization focused on preventing childhood abuse and trauma, and as a member of the Leadership Team for redM, a global organization focused on the elimination of human trafficking.
Missie and her partner, Jason, have two children. They enjoy travelling the world, eating good food, and trying new exciting things. Missie enjoys photography and often spends her spare time taking photos through her photography platform, Grey Eye Studio.
