Joe Colella

Joe Colella is the COO of MACH2. In this role, he is responsible for the development and execution of the Mid-Atlantic Clean Hydrogen Hub strategy and program. Before joining MACH2, Joe’s 30+ year career in the energy industry includes experience in oil and natural gas trading and sales, as well as pipeline scheduling, distribution and business development. Working with companies such as Buckeye Partners and Energy Transfer, Joe brings with him a wealth of knowledge in energy distribution and logistics.  Joe retired from Energy Transfer in 2021 and formed Schuyler Energy Logistics and Marketing, LLC to pursue opportunities in supply and distribution of carbon free fuels.

Joe graduated from the State University of New York Maritime College at Fort Schuyler with a degree in Marine Transportation and he holds an MBA in Marketing from the University of St. Thomas in Houston, Texas.
