Synopsis

Commissioner Kathryn L. Zerfuss will deliver the opening remarks at the Green Hydrogen Summit, bringing her extensive experience in government affairs and public service to the forefront. As a leader in regulatory and policy issues, Commissioner Zerfuss has championed workforce development, environmental sustainability, and diversity during her tenure with the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission. In her remarks, she will emphasize Pennsylvania’s leadership in clean energy and the pivotal role hydrogen will play in the state’s decarbonization efforts. Drawing from her work with the National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners (NARUC) and as co-vice chair of the NARUC-U.S. Department of Energy Task Force on Evolving Gas Infrastructure, she will provide insights into the regulatory frameworks and innovative strategies that will help drive the hydrogen economy forward.
